This photo highlights the scope of the fence repair project. The section of the fence shown was taken down to accommodate landscaping equipment. The repair involves reinstalling the fence panels, digging out the old concrete pillar and reinstalling a new posts to ensure the fence's structural integrity.
This is how we start fence post repairs; by initially digging out the old concrete pillar. Although this is the most labour intense portion of the repair; it is required to ensure that the new post we install is at the required depth (42'). Once the pillar is out we reshape the hole to make sure the new post we install will be structurally secure in the new concrete.
This is the completed fence repair; the only other action we took after this photo was taken was cutting the post and attaching a post cap.
A new post was installed to replace the damaged one, and the fence panels were repaired and reattached. We also rehung the gate, ensuring proper alignment and functionality. The project cost was $500, which included $400 for the post repair and $100 for the
Gate re-hung and fence panels secured! Another fence repair successfully completed."
